First, I’ve figured out that – at least for the foreseeable future – I need to count my calories. I talked here about how I was trying out ‘moderation’ instead of calorie counting for the week. Although it was really nice to have a break from the counting, I noticed a difference. Since I weigh in every two weeks, it wasn’t a scale difference. It was more about how I was feeling. With calorie counting, I was actually starting to see some results, and I was feeling great. Without it, I noticed that I was willing give in to some of my cravings when I usually wouldn’t. For now, back on the calorie-counting wagon I go!
Second, I fit into a new pair of jeans! Not new exactly, but they’re new to me. I got these bad boys in the fall from my roommate. They didn’t fit, but I put them in the pile for someday. That day is now! Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures when they didn’t fit, so you’ll have to be happy with the pictures of when they do! For future reference, I went ahead and took pictures of the next jeans that I want to get into, so there will definitely be a noticeable difference when they show up next.
