A broken record or a scratched CD…whatever floats your boat.

Hello, friends. It’s been awhile. I’ve been struggling and not posting because of it. Are you surprised? I’m not. Sometimes (all the time) I feel like a broken record. Or what I can actually remember, a scratched CD.

I struggle.

I vow to make a change.

I make that change for a few days.

I screw up.

I struggle to get back on track.

Honesty time. That’s not very interesting. Although my primary reason for writing isn’t to entertain, it has become more important to me as I continue to blog. I am guilty of comparing myself (and my blog) to others. It’s the truth. I wanted my life to be as interesting and entertaining as the lives that I read about on a daily basis.

Here’s what I’ve come to believe now though.

My life should be interesting and entertaining TO ME.

That’s all that really matters.

If that means that I don’t post anything about weight loss for six months, so be it.

I may only write about my obsession with reality television. That’s ok.

You may even decide that you don’t really care to read about me anymore. That’s ok too.

I’ll just entertain myself.

I’m really excited to write a Bachelorette post next week. It’s happening.

Have a great weekend!

In regard to your eating/dieting/trying hard/ failure/ feeling guilty…You have what is called a Stonghold. I. too, have had this but no longer am bound. I am FREE! I would love to talk to you sometime about how this came about. Love you dearly! Aunt Pam

Tell me what you think!
