Since the link up is coming back from its summer hiatus, I thought it only appropriate to focus on what I’m loving about fall so far. Also, Indiana is finally cooperating and giving me fall-like weather instead of the heat and humidity that we’ve been dealing with (again) for the past few days. I’m even drinking hot apple cider as I write this. What can I say, I have fall on the brain. Can you blame me?
I recently discovered Sally’s Baking Addiction after finding her recipe for white chocolate pumpkin snickerdoodles. My life is forever changed. Pumpkin? Whit e Chocolate? Rolled in sugar? Sign me up! Please try the recipe. Pretty please. The best part is that the recipe doesn’t require very much pumpkin at all, so I’m searching for some recipes to use the rest of it up. Here are some possibilities so far.
Sweaters are one of my absolute favorite things in the whole world. A large, comfy sweater? Even better. I’m loving this one from Kiki La Rue. (Side note – I’ve never shopped KLR, but I’ve heard it’s fantastic – opinions?)
It’s the first full weekend in October, which means it’s Riley Days (now known as the Riley Festival) time for those of us from Greenfield, Indiana! Don’t know who James Whitcomb Riley is? That’s ok, most don’t. It’s still a fun festival. I’m so looking forward to going with my mom on Saturday, and hopefully we can find some unique things!
Aren’t these the cutest? I’m not a huge candy corn fan, but these just scream FALL to me. I don’t think I can resist.
