37 Happy Days

Remember when I was all excited about the 100 Happy Days movement? Well, that’s over. At least for me.

I was supposed to post a picture of something that makes me happy on Instagram every day for 100 days. I got to day 37 and reached my limit. Then I immediately thought of myself like this.

Sometimes, but not about this. I love the idea behind 100 Happy Days, but it just isn’t realistic for me. It became exhausting trying to think of something new to post every day.

My morning coffee makes me happy every single time, but there are only so many ways to photograph a thermos. You get me?

That’s really not the point anyway. Even if a day isn’t happy, something happy can be found in every day. I can do that without posting it on Instagram.

If you’d like to check out some of the things that have made me happy over the past month or so, check out my feed on the sidebar.

100 Happy Days

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this yesterday and been a little bit confused by the hashtags. Here’s the explanation!

I know I’m a day late to the party blog-wise, but I’m so excited to share this with you guys. Some of my new favorite bloggers – Fab Chick Gets Fit, ALG Uninterrupted, Brew Loving Mama, and Camo and Lipstick – are joining the 100 Happy Days movement. If you’ve never heard of it (like me until two days ago), Valerie explains it here.

You can register here (or not) and get all of the details. Basically, you post a picture of anything that makes you happy for the next 100 days. Use the hashtags #100happydays and #blogwives100happydays if you’d like to join us.

Everyone can use a little more happy in their lives. Join us!
